When i take a photograph, i am telling a story; after all, a picture is worth a thousand words. But telling the story of a person - capturing a personality, a secret, an emotion, a wish - is the most challenging task charged to a photographer. Only with my aim towards a keen sense of finesse & aplomb can a life be told, so i continue to practice myself a shrewd biographer, as well.
I hunger to portray a natural eye for beauty & character within my photographs: a beautiful gift to practice. A scope i try to balance with my love for the craft.
My idealism (and obvious subtle charm....) lend breath to my vision, and in return - my photos. When landscapes deepen & faces spark to life, it is a resplendent thing to capture. I have always delighted in the challenge of telling a person's story through my photography. Having worked on several successful projects with popular image industries, on each, in each person, my camera attempts to eloquently describe an innocent smile, a hushed serenity: a person's story, left untold without the warm resonance of my photographic style or passion.
With my camera, i convey these stories with poise - but allow my subject to do the talking. Each product is a fusion of my challenged creativity & subjects individuality. My composition is imbued with texture & clarity, hopefully providing voice to the character on the other side of my lens.
I enjoy giving each person i photograph a confident & inimitable representation of themselves, a brilliant biography in each shot. With my continued practice to reveal these hidden facets of my subjects, i hope to consistently grow myself a future, rich in artistic wisdom & constant exploration.
To capture in a photograph someone's personality is to spin the tale of his or her life.
