Wink Dawg was born and raised in Port Arthur, TX. Real name, Patrick Harris named after his father and givin the nickname, "Wink", from the people who knew his father by that nickname. Wink grew up in a big family with big dreams. He is the nephew of former champion boxer, Wilford Scypion. Growing up in the limelight seemed to attract Wink to the life of entertainment. Harris begin performing in talent shows at the age of 9 in elementary school in Port Arthur, TX. He teamed up with his late Grandmother's neighbors, AVEREXX and BeatMastaWes who begin to record and develop Wink Dawg in their parents garage. As you can see today, this relationship has lasted due to the greatness and determination of both Wink Dawg and the producers. Harris leaves no element of his life untouched in his music. He gives it to you like it is on every bar. Harris takes you to the clubs, gives you some pimp game, takes you on an inspirational journey and pours out his heart in his new album.
