About Me

MY FLICKR PHOTO SITE
I live by the following maxim:
"I'm not a complicated man. I like cinema, in particular, I like to see people fucking on film. But I don't want to win an oscar and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. I like simple pleasures like, butter in my ass and lollipops in my mouth, ok. That's just me, that's just something that I enjoy, call me crazy, call me a pervert. But if there's one thing that I want to do in this life, and that is make a dollar and a cent in this industry."

::You could say I lost my faith in science and progress::
::You could say I lost my belief in the holy church::
::You could say I lost my sense of direction::
::You could say all of this and worse, but::
::If I ever lose my faith in you::
::There’d be nothing left for me to do::
::Some would say I was a lost man in a lost world::
::You could say I lost my faith in the people on t.v.::
::You could say I’d lost my belief in our politicians::
::They all seemed like game show hosts to me::
::If I ever lose my faith in you::
::There’d be nothing left for me to do::
::I could be lost inside their lies without a trace::
::But every time I close my eyes, I see your face::
::I never saw no miracle of science::
::That didn’t go from a blessing to a curse::
::I never saw no military solution::
::That didn’t always end up as something worse::
::But let me say this first::
::If I ever lose my faith in you::
::There’d be nothing left for me to do::
You Are a Seeker Soul
You are on a quest for knowledge and life challenges. You love to be curious and ask a ton of questions. Since you know so much, you make for an interesting conversationalist. Mentally alert, you can outwit almost anyone (and have fun doing it!).Very introspective, you can be silently critical of others. And your quiet nature makes it difficult for people to get to know you. You see yourself as a philosopher, and you take everything philosophically. Your main talent is expressing and communicating ideas.Souls you are most compatible with: Hunter Soul and Visionary Soul

Your Brain's Pattern
Structured and organized, you have a knack for thinking clearly.
You are very logical - and you don't let your thoughts get polluted with emotions.
And while your thoughts are pretty serious, they're anything from boring.
It's minds like yours that have built the great cities of the world!

My Interests

Philosophy (Eastern to be precise), Movies (Foreign and Indie), stubborn Polish women, Road Cycling!!!, Good food, corrupting Asia, excellent wine (I'm a Pinot fan), Dance (Tango, Paso Doble), Music (all sorts), Travel, Good literature, Old cemeteries, rustic meadows, emerald forests, Turkish coffee, Ceylon tea, Sailing, rainy days in coffee shops, competition shooting, Vespas, cool techno gadgets, all sorts of Art, old relics and artifacts, playing cards, Cooking, and more. I'd like to meet:

Someone who is passionate but not heartless, intrinsic but not isolated, earthy but not grounded, reflective but not refractive, campy but not cheeky, and finally, can appreciate the fact that life should not be taken very seriously. Someone who is no stranger to the Path Along the Lake and appreciates the midnight matinee at the MusicBox. Someone who enjoys the irony of 80s music and the brevity of foreign films. Sarcasm is fine, rudeness is not. People who don't take themselves seriously and have a taste for the more bizarre things in life. Since I work in quant and trading, I'm eccentric by nature and I thrive in the company of equally mercurial people. I'll try anything once, twice if you're lucky.
