My current favorites are Death Cab for Cutie and Brandi Carlile (love them!). I also love James Taylor, Natalie Merchant, the Sundays, Bread, Damien Rice, Nick Drake, Incubus, Jimi Hendrix...just to name a few. As far as country music I prefer classic country like Conway Twitty, Keith Whitley, George Jones, Alabama, Earl Thomas Conley...and a ton more; contemporary christian (because Jesus loves me!) and pretty much anything mellow. Sometimes, if the occasion calls for it, I like some loud heavy stuff, and thanks to my daughter, even a little rap and R&B stuff (who knew?). I also love some local music: Noizejoi, Derik Hultquist and Jordan Pendley...truly wonderful people with awesome talent!
Comedies! Life's too serious not to laugh!! Some of my favorites are: Barefoot in the Park; The Way We Were; Breakfast at Tiffany's; Garden State; Sideways; Elizabethtown...
I like Mad Men, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, Samantha Who?, My Boys, The Sarah Silverman Program, Friday Night Lights...and tons more but can't think of them right now.
