Live to ride, ride to live

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
I go to nmu, Im just chillin up here snowboarding whenever I get the chance... school every now & then I guess. I guess you could say I'm quite laid back, but don't let it fool you, I can still rage it. Up all night, sleep all day. I tend to overanalyze things... i.e. Think too much at times. (and then again, sometimes too little). Key word: Indecisive. I hike a lot and cliff jump and stuff in the summer, the lake is amazing. I love being outdoors. Music is a major source of inspiration, I don't know where I'd be without it. I've been playing guitar since about 5th grade, and I love it. I used to play AA Hockey, it was my life until my lung decided to collapse on me... (words of wisdom: Cigarettes are evil) I'm still very much into the sport and really miss being out on the ice. I hope to one day live somewhere cool like British Columbia or Cali... as long as the atmosphere's good and I've got my mountains to ride. I think when I'm done with college, I'm gonna move into the country and eat me a lot of peaches. Live to ride, ride to live. Summer is great, but I need to ride. Megan likes to pick on me when I'm drunk Playin some frisbee sticks with Alex... 10k rocks

I want to see alaska or the alps someday, or both. Did I mention I love the fine high art of snowboarding? We stand sideways. we sleep on floors in cramped resort hotel rooms. we get up early and go to sleep late. we've been mocked. we've been turned away from resorts that won't have us. we are relentless. we dream it, we make it, we break it, we fix it. we create. we destroy. we wreck ourselves day in and day out and yet we stomp that one trick or find that one line that keeps us coming back. we progress. --- Live to ride, Ride to live.

I'd like to meet:

anyone who has mastered a musical instrument, or anyone who can be dropped out of a helicopter onto a huge mountain face in Alaska and make it down to the bottom like nothing.... Trey Anastasio w/ Medeski Martin & Wood @ 10klf. Wildest show I've seen in years.

I can get into anything that makes you think, crazy stories. I have a somewhat short attention span at times and I'm a very slow reader, but when I get around to it a good book is nice. I did read the odyssey and the Iliad this year, Mythology is some interesting shit... although they are long reads, they're definitely worth a shot. The complete rantings of Raleigh Theodore Sakers... Nuts, If You've heard the Raleigh soliloquys from Sublime's Robbin' the hood... theres actually about 2-3 hours of tape of the maniac just going off. http://www.rollietheodoresakers.bravehost.com/ for the recording and manuscript... its quite offensive but very amusing -Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer are in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Pttery amzanig huh?
