This page is dedicated to Alexander Lamont Woods. If you look to the left of this section , there's a picture and scrapbook picture with Lamont and his father Alexander Sr. ( Alex ). Lamont was my first cousin and brother of the struggle. I'm shedding tears as I type this out. Sadly he was gunned down on the streets some years back and his lost was the lightning bolt that jolted me back into reality and in touch with my savior. He is dearly missed and 9/21 is the birthday that we used to kick it on so this time of year he is always highly thought of as he is a special person in my heart. If you are or know of anyone out in the struggle keep them in constant prayer because that's the greatest gift that you can give them. Lamont you are missed by many and to all reading this please keep his daughter and his family in your prayers. !!!! Now a lil about me......... Educated, witty, sincere and humble are some of the qualities I have under my belt...............Don''t like to toot my own horn but I''m very nice and I treat people the way that I want to be treated......... I love the game of basketball and you can see by my pictures that I coach college basketball and have been very successful on and off the court as a coach, educator and mentor!!!!!! I love these young men, and the thing I love the most is that in 12 years of coaching my players have a 97.3% graduation rate.... Can''t say all young Black men are thugs !!!!!!!!!!! --Now my journey continues as I make a move to the Chicago area to take what God has given me to another level at a bigger school, and new scene...So if you reading this keep me and the young men I work with and my transition in your prayers. Now for the First time in years I am looking for love, relationship, tight friendship, etc..... Been alone, emotionally and physically lonely for too long. ........ I love working with kids, especially at-risk youth. I substitute taught from 2003-08 part time along with coaching and have hopes and aspirations of teaching elementary when all the coaching is over. We all should take time to hear the voices of the little ones, they can be honest about how people and the world is. there's a lot of truth in the youth!!!!!.................................................. ..........................................................
