About Me

i'm just me. what that entails changes daily, so if you really want to know, ask. i have a fairly short attention span for people who are more concerned with 'what it looks like' than 'what it truly is'...so if you tend to be more concerned with what others perceive than what the truth of the matter is, we likely won't get along. always up for a thought provoking conversation, and i always love to hear people's opinions on...well, everything. :) as long as you realize that they are your opinions and i'm just as entitled to not share them...i like to think i'm pretty laid back, open minded, and while i tend to be a homebody, at least i have fun at home... :)Myspace Layouts

Television:

i can't remember the last time i actually watched something on TV that wasn't a movie. family guy. that '70s show. dark angel was good before it was cancelled. i just don't watch much tv.

Books:

.. i love to read. reading is my favorite way to escape. my boyfriend has gotten me hooked on the forgotten realms series, by r.a. salvatore. i've never been much of a science fiction reader, but these are very well written and highly addictive. :) i'm also reading the earth's children series by jean m. auel. i've read all of the existing books and am waiting, impatiently, for the next one to come out. i have tons of favorites: the davinci code, the celestine prophecy (and the accompanying series...the tenth insight and the secrets of shambahla), by james redfield. illusions: the adventures of a reluctant messiah (by richard bach), ishmael, my ishmael, and the story of b (by daniel quinn). and, of course, the harry potter series. and you are only laughing at that last one if you haven't read them yet. :) i also love children's books, and read them daily for my daughter when i put her in bed. ones that have meaning or sentiment attached to them...the giving tree (shel silverstein), where the wild things are (maurice sendak), i LOVE dr. seuss...consequently, so does my daughter. :)

Heroes:
