Why not give it a listen and add your own leXXis to the list?Emerging from Perth, Western Australia, tantriXX is the progeny of songwriter & miSStreSS of VoXX FXX Tan Ti'En (ex La Chambre & The Lipz). Her vocal style, lyRiXX, and what some have described as "animal magnetism" have attracted few comparisons and seeing tantriXX live you may well agree that the sound is seXXy. In Melbourne, 2001, working alongside MyLittlePony/Digital Racoonz producer Agent Richie Pike, Tan began BeatScaping fuzing the seXXyLeKtRo soundz of Korg's family of Synthz with live stringz & F-eKTd voXX. The by-product? An amalgamation of eleKtro, break beatz & ROK laced with voXX & LyRiXX that could make a grown minXX cry...or at the very least, mildly arouSed. In 2004, tantriXX relocated to London. Following a mishmash in the stoodio with Polish born & bred bassist/vocalist, DIJOU, she morphed the sound lacing it with lashingz of his augural voXX & then took the live showz to another level with the introduction of new members including Hannah Lloyd (TempoShark) ..o and Jody Maloney (The Gadsdens & ex Paperfin) on guitar and backing voXX. Following an extended stint in the UK & Europe, 2008 sees Tan aka TantriXX returning to her home town of Perth bringing the new soniXX home for lift off! The new local lineup features Nathan Sinclair aka Tha DoGG on ElektroRok Guitarz, & the sound continues to stir the briefs of the young & old, recently breaking waves with the track Pillz reaching number "1" on the JJJ unearthed electronic chartz, AND, SymbiotiXX the RemiXX being nominated for the 2008 WAMi Song Of the Year Award!
