Random Thoughts

One of my favorite classical pieces of all time...yes I do like classical music...goes along with having played the piano for 17 years. The piece played in this video is Johan Pachelbel's Canon In D. There are numerous variations of Canon but in essence follow the same structure (two-bar bass line and harmonic sequence repeated over and over, about 30 times in total) Originally the piece was intended for violins and bass, but several variations are played on piano and guitar. Enough of the music lesson. Oh and in case anyone is wondering yes I can play Canon In D = P

Fresh Fridays @ Sound Bar with One

Sound Bar ushers in a new Era of Nightlife. Chicago's prototype mega club Sound Bar for the past several years has enternained thousands of clubgoers. One takes over the basement level complete with multiple bars, rooms, lounges, each boasting its own ambiance. The party goes from10 PM - 4 AM. Passwords at the door are either One for complimentary admission all night.

Introducing Fully Loaded Fridays & Saturdays 2007 @ Funky

The Newest Weekend Celebration kicks off in fine fashion at Funky Buddha Lounge as your friends at Flawless play host to the most anticipated nights of the weekend. Flawless continues its celebration in diversity and invites you to experience the ambience that makes Buddha Lounge the "Best Club" rated by citysearch 3 years running.

The night features no cover before 11 and 1/2 off after, hosted cocktail reception from 9-10pm. For those interested in table reservations please book ahead.
