About Me

A Jamerican woman who converted to Islam many years ago. An avid reader and a self-proclaimed cultural critic. A lover of Caribbean music (esp. lover's rock and soca). A lover of Caribbean culture in general. Loving Jamaica but influenced too much by my Trini & Guyanese friends (only joking, I love unno still!) Islamically, I strive to be a person of moderation- not too strict, not too loose. I didn't "tun Arab" I'm still me with a better twist. Still reppin' Jamericans everywhere I go.

My Interests

Islamic fashion, dawah, reading, listening to music, watching films, Caribbean politics and development, going to conferences, studies in race/ethnicity, and learning more about my religion, other cultures, and people.

I'd like to meet:

Foremost, my Muslim sisters (and brothers) from all over the globe. And of course, HAIL UP ALL JAMAICANS and all West Indian Massive! LOVE UNNO!
