Formed November 1993 by Fin Santos ex-vocalist of the legendary, notorious hardcore/punk, crossover band I.O.V. {Intoxication of Violence} and Alvin Esperanza of Doctrine. Resurrected started as a thrash/crossover band in their early years and evolved musically due to their multiple line up changes. In the past, they played with foreign underground hardcore/punk bands like, Truth of Arise, Peaceful Protest, All You Can Eat, Code13, Himza, War All The Time. Resurrected toured in local provinces Bicol, Pampanga, Olongapo, Laguna, Bulacan, Antipolo, Taytay, Bataan, and participated at the Maskara Festival in Bacolod last October 2007 that was sponsored by Super ferry, Cebu Pacific airlines and Bacolod Pavillion. Aside from playing in rock bars, town festivals, sports events, Resurrected received invites as judges for battle of the bands and was also featured in various underground local fanzines as well as foreign underground fanzine “Maximum Rock and Roll”, local mainstream magazine “Pulp”, and extreme sports magazine “Urge”. June 2007, Resurrected performed at Fette dela Musique an annual french music festival in Malate Manila with over 2000 audience. April 2008, Resurrected opened for Mahattma Korea’s finest thrashmetal band at Ten02 bar and was praised by Mahattma (check out Pulp Magazine May 2008 issue) as Philippines finest thrashmetal. On Pulp Summerslam 8 at Amoranto Stadium, Over 30,000 audience experienced their ass kicking, neck breaking performance as Fin unleashed his guitar killing riffs as a hired gun for Rex from Hollywood, California U.S.A. (check out rexrex.com) along side with Resurrected’s drummer Resty Maddela. October 2008 Resurrected performed The 2008 Asian Solidification Tour of Defiled and Hydrophobia (Japan) at Center for Arts, Quezon City. Over 200 people attended the event. Armed to the teeth, Resurrected is one of the established metal band in the country and main acts of the Gods Of Metal show produced by Ironworks Music Revolution. For over a decade the band struggled yet survived battling their personal demons, crisis of their career, and made them much stronger, effective killing machine. Previously released their first album "Past Scars Aria", the band is back in the studio working for their second album.
