In early 2001 this powerful force was composed of four talented musicians who were commandeered under the pseudo name PrAnK. Scot Schaumburg, Shelby Martin, Aaron OClaire, and David Burdick began planning out the founding groundwork to become what Alternate End is today. Through the trials and tribulations of the music industry, it has brought many life long lessons for the conduct of good ethics to the group. As it has become, Alternate End has built up its credibility as one of the most energetic, entertaining, and fan orientated musical acts to represent quality entertainment through-out the lulls, highs, and inner workings of the club circuits with in the country. The talent of the band consists of many differential styles and genres in-which popular music listeners favor and agree upon. David Burdick brings the sounds of beautiful lead vocals and the surreal ness of jazz and rock beats, through and from behind his drum kit, to the palate of what Alternate End produces. Aaron OClaire highlights the music with sweet melodies which is becoming of the groups music under his classical training and appreciation for classic rock. Scot Schaumburg excels the rhythm section with the days of grunge and powerful chord progressions that are unbelievably ear catching. Shelby Martin recreates the powerfulness of how the bass was meant to be played through the inspirations of Les Claypool, Bela Fleck, and Flea. Alternate End doubtlessly has been asked to play over and over again at every venue that they have had the pleasure of playing. The wealth of this virtuosity speaks for itself upon the reputability that is already in place through-out the nation.
