Hey everyone. My name is sean and im 18. I used to go to westminster school, now go to Adelaide Uni. Im doing a double degree of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts. I love going out to the city on a friday night or hitting the Ed on a tuesday. I have a tendancy to be melancholy and cynical when I am sad, but I can also be a lot of fun lots of the time. I say what other people are too afraid to say, and if theres a problem I will usually bring it up. I seem to get betrayed a lot, especially by women, though i'm the sort who usually forgives, if I get betrayed often enough then I lose respect for that person and one day will no longer continue to forgive them. I have a very different outlook on life from most other people. I like both the cultured things in life as well as the base pleasures of drinking and going out with friends. Oscar Wilde stated that,"The aim of life is self-development. To realize one's nature perfectly - that is what each of us is here for". Which is why I am constantly trying to improve myself, my knowledge, my understanding of the world. I believe in the principles of socialism and socialist democracy, which provides the needs of those least fortunate in society and allows each human being to live a life of complete individualism of their own choosing. I also am interested in revolution as a historical act and as a principle. My passion in life is history and politics, many have made fun of me for this, but if one has no passion in life then, as Oscar Wilde said, "To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people just exist, that is all". I do not like war, contrary to the popular belief of my peers, but I am interested in it and what it creates, great political and social upheaval, huge emotional and physical impact on millions of people.
