Anacrusis

Anacrusis is a five-piece band from Perth, Australia, playing a breed of classic heavy metal with major influences from many different bands. Today, only two of the original members of the band that started as a three-piece called Undecided back in 2001 remain. Michael Raphael and Matt McGuire, together with a friend from school on drums, formed the band that was later to see the addition of Josh Terlick as vocalist and bassist. In late 2002, David Meyrick joined as drummer for the band after the dismissal of the previous drummer. The band began writing its own material and, in mid 2004, brought in fifth member Sam Terlick (Josh's cousin) as lead vocalist - creating and defining Anacrusis.
