Since 1968 Mothers has been a Chicago favorite whether it's Live Music, dancing til you can't stand, or singing karaoke til your throat hurts, Mothers has got what you need. From her earliest days hosting bands such as C.T.A., Cream, The Mekons, and The Velvet Underground to nursing House Music out of its diapers, Mothers has firmly established itself as The Home of Performance in the Gold Coast. Through a history of globally famous events such as The Money Grab and National Lip Sync Night, as well as hosting Mr. & Mrs. Division Street, many up and coming performers have sharpened their chops on Mothers stage and dance floor. Mothers continues this tradition today with events such as ElvisFest, Oscars Night, Dance your AZZ off, and Live Music.
