To me, its about 3 things: the art of female impersonation, the artisitc value in which I put into it, and business. Plain and simple. I don't live as a girl. I don't wear girls clothes outside of work. I don't go out as a girl unless to promote upcomming shows. It is of the utmost importance to me that my fans, friends, and just the general public know that my art is strictly for the stage and that a lot of time, energy, creativity, and skill go into what I do. Do I think I am better than anyone else? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I'm just me - and people can take it or leave it! I hope that as my career continues I can be more to the community that "just another drag queen." I hope to be somewhat of an example to some of the younger entertainers out there in our business. You see, so many times new entertainers fashion their art and business sense after the wrong people and they get caught up in this business for the wrong reasons. If at some point in my life I can be an example to another entertainer - I would feel blessed. If at some point in my career I can be an example to another gay man who might be struggling with his sexuality - I would feel blessed.
