Thin Ice was put together in January of 2006. We started out as just two guitarists, Dan and Joey. We figured okay, to make this work, we should get a drummer. The first drummer we found was Dave. We figured okay he is definately in. We recorded some shit, played some shows, and we were just having fun. The Spring of 07 hit. And we started looking for a bassist. The first guy we found was Brian Motyll, a very skilled bassist from New Lenox. Over the summer we played a numerous amount of shows with so many bands. We couldn't have asked for a better summer. On January 26th and 27th we recorded our E.P. "Not The Same" with Beyond the Gates Records and Promotions. It turned out really well. Now we plan on doing a three song demo, and we're going to continue writing new material. Along with that we're going to play shows, so hopefully it will be a great summer.
