About Me

I'm a pretty hip chick. . . born in the US, but spent several years in Canada before moving to AZ, where I lived during my "formative years" so-to-speak. I moved to Chi-Town in Sept. and I'm psyched to be here. Still miss my friends back in Arizona every day, but I've met some awesome peeps here and I'm just livin' the dream. I have a lot of hobbies and love to try new things. I have no talents or fine skills, but I'm witty and love to have fun! Basically, I just like to stay busy and make as many memories as possible. Of course, those memories are always more fun when you are sharing them with friends ~

Chillin' with my dog, fishing, camping, sports, music, traveling and making an ass of myself on the dancefloor. I also dig playing hacky-sack, hanging out with friends, Laughing (funny movies, books, or just funny people), going to amusement parks, learning new things, etc.

I'd like to meet:

Happy people.

Music:

I like virtually ALL types of music. Favorites include George Strait, Korn, Frank Sinatra, 311, Elvis, Sublime, STP, Weezer, NIN, Pantera, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, NERD, Pearl Jam, Social Distortion, Skynyrd, Ozzy, Dre, Chevelle, White Stripes, Disturbed, 2 Pac, Charlie Daniels. . . I could go on forever - I like A LOT of music!

Movies:

Comedies are best, but I like most anything other than Sci-Fi. Some may call me a movie junkie. Favorites include Old School, Urban Cowboy, Office Space, Dodgeball, A Bronx Tale, The Princess Bride, Walk the Line, The Wedding Singer, Snatch, The Notebook, Goodfellas, Dazed & Confused, Caddyshack, Airplane, Always, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Troy, Finding Nemo, Animal House, Tommy Boy and many more

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, The Simpsons Deadwood, Entourage, Sex in the City, MXC.

Books:

"The Odyssey" & "The Illiad" by Homer, Dante's "Inferno", "Odd Thomas" by Dean Koontz and "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein. I'll read pretty much anything you put in front of me

Heroes:

MY MOM. Without a doubt, the strongest woman I'll ever know. It may sound cliche, but only for those who didn't have the chance to get to know her... Create your own video at One True Media " target="_blank"

Oh, I also admire anyone who puts their life on the line to protect & help others - THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE SOLDIERS, FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE OFFICERS, PARAMEDICS, etc. And, last, but not least - TEACHERS. . . tough job, lousy pay, but I can't imagine where we'd be without them

Holidays suck

So, this is my first time blogging, and I'm really not sure why I'm doing it. Today has been a joke - I have several things on my to-do list that I haven't accomplished, but I can't focus. I'm sa...
