I just want to be something more than the mud in your eyes. I want to be the clay in your hands.

About Me

I'm a Christian and I guess I'm what you'd call a well-rounded artistic type of person. Right now I'm majoring in art education and hoping to move out and get my four-year degree in art after MAC. So yeah, art, music, and drama are my thing, yo. Right now I'm (slowly) working on writing and recording some solo music (I play guitar and sing, how original!) and I used to be in an indie-rockin' band, Amazing Dead Puppet Hero (lyk ogmz they're on myspace). And I also take part in the MAC plays when I get the chance, 'cause that's a ton of fun, and I love the people. And that's me in a nutshell!

My Interests

Art, Music, Theater, Graphic Novels (a fancy way of saying comics), and Video Games.

Music:

If I listed all of my "most liked" bands, you'd stop caring way before you finished reading it. Maybe I'll list some later. But I'm mostly into indie and alternative, but I'll listen to most anything save for crappy mainstream rock and modern country.

Movies:

I work at Blockbuster, so it's safe to say I have a movie obsession. But for me to really like it, it has to at least have some level of creativity or weirdness. And movies that have a strong message, especially. My absolute favorites: American History X, Cowboy Bebop (the movie or the series), The Green Mile, Hook, Little Shop of Horrors, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Requiem for a Dream, The Shining, and Sin City.

Television:

To tell you the truth, I really don't watch much tv. Apart from my semi-addiction to Lost, I like good stand-up comedy and Adult Swim.

Books:

I'm pretty much addicted to graphic novels. And by graphic novels, I mean comic books that have plots like an actual book, and usually have better or more stylistic artwork than the average crappy hero comic book. Not to say that I don't like Batman. As far as actual books go, Stephen King's The Stand is my all-time favorite, closely followed by his Dark Tower series, which took well over a year of committment, but it blew my mind. George Stewart's Earth Abides was a great one, and the ever-popular Ender's Game.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ
