Ruptured Gore

In February 2003, Danny Chavarria and Harvey Lopez (former guitarist of "Muerte Sagrada") met up with Victor Pantoja (former guitarist of "Anurism") at a local hang out spot in Santa Ana. It wasn't long when the idea of starting a side project spawned. The vibes were strong and we were very serious. We then discussed which instruments who would play. Danny demanded he play drums. Having no skills, and oblivious of his talent, he would corrupt the drums in no time. Harvey decided on bass, and Victor on lead guitar. Later, we brought in Eric Contrerez (former lead singer of "Anurism") to be our vocalist. Pepe wanted in on the project and helped us with the equipment. Soon we were known as "Sacrifice". The band progressed for a while, but we noticed someone had to go. Victor requested that Angel Hernandes (former guitarist of "Anurism") join the band, which resulted in Pepe leaving. Months went by and yet another member had to go. Danny suggested that Jerry Gonzales (former vocalist of "Muerte Sagrada") join the band, thus taking Eric's place. We were now known as "Mortal Sin". We soon became a local band playing in backyard parties and small clubs. Days went by and things went well until Victor and Danny moved away from Santa Ana, which was followed by a long break. Eventually, we all got together at Victor's house and began practicing again. We dedicated our time to making new music, and we accomplished many goals. Although things were looking up we had yet another problem. One day Angel received a letter on his door. In it John (the guitarist from "Severis" asked Angel to join their band. Shortly afterward he left us to join their band. Also, our former bassist, Harvey, had also left the band to deal with personal matters. After he left, Victor met Mike at school and asked him to play bass for a new project called Ruptured Gore. Months latter Angel survived an auto accident resulting in Severis splitting up. Angel stayed in the hospital for many months undergoing extensive surgery and physical therapy. After he recovered he picked up his guitar and started making music again. One day he received a phone call from his childhood friend Victor. They decided to bring Angel in as the second guitarist. Soon it became, Danny (Drums), Victor (Guitar/Keyboard/Vocals), Angel (Guitar/Keyboard/Vocals), and Mike (Bass) who have become the new Ruptured Gore.
