Im an aspiring artist trying to bring the lryicism back to hip hop. I value the ability to create a well written meaningful song that also carries commercial appeal. Few artists possess that quality and im working hard to achieve that status. My focus is to create thought-provoking introspective lyrics into personal experiences as well as social and political issues. All I can be is me, and I'ma stay true to myself and be real with my music.I started writing songs when I was in the 7th grade and have been writing ever since. Rap became a serious ambition of mine in the 10th grade when I met and formed a group with a wilmington rapper, K-Swiss. We recorded two albums together and were invited to perform in Las Vegas and several venues in Wilmington. Since leaving to attend UNC, we have both continued rapping as solo artists. Last February, at a studio in Chapel Hill, I met the most musically talented person I have ever met, Taylor Johnson (Proper-T). I told him I rapped and he told me he made beats and we clicked. Within a couple hours, we wrote and recorded "Can U Move" and performed it a week later. Since then we have recorded about 25 more tracks.Any aspiring or already made artist that is interested in collaborating to make some hott music, hit me up.
