Firstly, something I'm really really passionate about...
* * *
* * * A POPLAR TREE
Well, I'm not too great at describing myself, but Debbie found a thingy determining which type of tree you are based on your date of birth... As it happens, it's a pretty accurate description of me! :oP
People tend to look up to you, and it's a bit lonely at the top.
Inside, you are not always self confident, but you show great courage.
Mature and organized, you are reliable in any situation. You tend to have an artistic or philosophical outlook on life.
You are very choosy in love and take partnership seriously.
* * * MY LOVE
We are totally and utterly In Love .
We are Engaged to be Married .
We are the Happiest we've ever been.
* * * EDUCATION
Since my later years in high school I have developed aspirations for a career in Clinical Psychology, hopefully working in either adult mental health or in child development.
When I’ve finished my degree in ‘Psychology’ in 2009 I am planning to be able to stay on at Bangor and study for a fourth year to acquire and MSc in ‘Foundations of Clinical Psychology’. After a few years out of full-time education to earn the funding and hopefully gain experience in the field I will aim to return to Bangor to complete a three-year ‘Doctorate of Clinical Psychology’. However, you never know what might happen and which opportunities may arise, so all these plans are flexible, to fit in with whatever life throws at me.
So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed studying at Bangor. The lecturers are brilliant and the support is fantastic.
Although much of the course has repeated the areas I covered at A-Level I have been introduced to Neuropsychology and some new areas of Clinical and Health Psychology that I have found truly fascinating. Unusually I have also enjoyed completing the assignments we have been given and found it to be an interesting way to expand my knowledge past what we've learnt in lectures.
Overall an incredible start to my studies :oD
* * * MY FRIENDS
Well, I don’t have very many friends here in Bangor, but those I do have truly are amazing people.

Something I've recently learned is very very true...

* * * MY UNIVERSITY LIFE
Well, coming to Bangor has really been an unexpectedly difficult and huge step forward in my life. Living so far away from home made me realise how hugely important to me are my family and friends.
Although my new life in Bangor got off to a really shaky start I'm now settled in and finding that Bangor really is a strange city in which to live and I love it to pieces. University is an adventure of a lifetime. I could so easily have missed it all. I’m so grateful that I realised the full potential of this fantastic new place before it was too late! I nearly missed a whole year of university life, so I’ll not let another minute pass me by without appreciating it!
I have found loads of new and interesting hobbies to take up my free time...
~ I'm Secretary for ‘Bangor Bird Group’.
I absolutely love Birds, so this year I've made sure we have a wide range of speakers talking about all sorts of different things. I've also helped arrange some interesting Field Trips to actually see some of the birds we're learning about.
~ I'm Fundraising Officer for ‘Student Volunteering Bangor’.
We're hoping to arrange two ‘SIN Nights’ this year. We've already had a Moulin Rouge theme and our Pirates of the Caribbean theme night is on 26th Feb. Our aim is to raise lots of money to help towards providing the best projects for our Volunteers and the community.
~ I participate with ‘Student Volunteering Bangor’ on a project called ‘Out and About’.
A group of four of us volunteers organise and accompany ten elderly members of the community on an afternoon excursion to one of the many local attractions. It really is a fascinating experience. Volunteering to enrich the lives of some wonderful people has really helped me to find myself again. Not only do I have an enhanced respect for elderly people I have made some very precious friends who have taught me so much about life and living it to the full.
~ I also Volunteer as a Project Leader on ‘Student Volunteering Bangor’ Beach Cleans. After organising and preparing for the Beach Clean, Matt and I dedicate a Sunday every other week to join with a few other people to clean up a local beach that has a particular problem with littering and debris washed in from the sea. We always receive loads of praise from the local surfers and walkers and the noticeable difference makes it all worth while.
~ Hopefully I'll also start Swimming in the mornings before lectures.
Since November of 2007 I've finally had the change to become closer to my flat mates Jo and Matt. We have so much fun together and I'm really looking forward to living with them again! They're truly amazing people.
