God I beg of you
To give me a husband
Who is just like You.
A man who can lead
The entire family
And yet a man who lives
To follow You.
A man who is strong
Yet weak.
A man who sheds
A tear or two.
Let him be funny
Yet mature.
Let him be one who
Makes me feel strong
But also weak
To my knees.
Let him be a man who is
So on fire for You.
And that I can be
On the same path as he.
Let him be a handsome man.
Let him be a man of God.

Television:
I hate the way you talk to me,
And the way you cut your hair.
I hate the way you drive my car.
I hate it when you stare.I hate your big dumb combat boots,
And the way you read my mind.
I hate you so much it makes me sick,
It even makes me rhyme.
I hate the way your always right.
I hate it when you lie.
I hate the way you make me laugh,
Even worse when you make me cry.
I hate it when your not around,
And the fact that you didn't call.
But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you,
Not even close,
