MyGen Profile Generator MyGen Profile Generator Zac Mendelsohn, born and raised in North West London is the Managing Director of one of the most prestigious Dance music distribution companies in the world, Z Audio Ltd!He honed most of his skills at Epicentre distribution, where he was appointed general manager of the whole operation when he was just 20 years old. When Epicentre Distribution was forced to close down due to financial reasons, Zac thought starting his own company was the only thing to do, Z Audio was born! The company was started solely by himself and the entire operation used to be run out of his bedroom in West Hampstead! A young enroponour in the making! "Most of the distribution companies at the time (2003) were not giving Breakbeat the treatment it deserved. Sure your big guns of the scene had distribution covered, but allot of artists from the Nu Skool Breaks Era were being ignored." That is why Zac decided to start the company and has now managed to provide a professional distribution service to some of breakbeat's biggest names today, that at the time were the scenes "new comers". Zac used to play many roles in the early days of Z Audio, from Sales Rep to credit controller, to Label manager, to warehouse manager, you name it, Zac did it! Now he has a great team behind him, which leaves him free to progress the company into bigger and better things! Just some of the labels Zac has signed to Z Audio: Broke Recordings, Bassrock Records, Envision Recordings, BoomBox Records, Punk Funk, Hot To Trot Records, Ibreaks Records, Mofo Records, Title Fight + Many, many more! Z Audio currently has relationships with partner distribution companies in near enough every country in the world! These include an extensive UK sales exposure, Spain, USA, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zeeland, Sweden, Canada, Hungary, France+ Many, many more. He recently employed Jon Condon (a.k.a JC) to diversify the company to become a player in the House distribution game. Jon has worked with some of the biggest names across the house market. Now with Zac and Jon working as a Tag Team, it won't be long until Z Audio is in the spotlight for House distribution. Watch this space!Zacs entroponourial skills don't end there. With plans to move the company into Digital distribution and open a Z Audio download store in the near future, it looks as though this man's future and everyone working along side him is very bright indeed.
