I like to share the things I like with the world. I want people to share that same extreme feeling I have when I listen to a certain piece of music. I want the danish music scene to be world known. Mew, Kashmir, Tim Christensen you'll rock the world.
The most awesome place to both hear international and danish music is Copenhagen. The Roskilde Festival, which is held in the danish city Roskilde every year has hosted many artists.
I've been there in 2004, the mud year I'd like to call it. But that didn't make my experience worse. My virgin visit at Roskilde was incredible. I got to see alot of great bands like Graham Coxon, Vive La Fete, Franz Ferdinand and many others.
In 2006, this year. I went there and saw Placebo, Morrisey, Bob Dylan, Sigur Rós, HIM, Kaizers Orchestra, Kaiser Chiefs. There was simply too much good music on the same time. I missed out on both Death Cab For Cutie (which I afterwards got to like alot, so I'm of course very disappointed in myself about not having gone seen them). I also missed out on Jack Whites new band the Raconteurs, but the worst thing that could have possible happened was that I missed out on Roger Waters performing Dark Side of the Moon. I should have stayed watching it alone. Heh.. Anyway. I love music.
