SIENA COLLEGE is a Catholic, Filipino and Dominican school founded in 1958 by the Congregation of Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena. The school envisions the students to be a community of disciples of Jesus: MAKA- DIYOS, MAKA-TAO, MAKA-BAYAN and MAKA-KALIKASAN. The Siena College community adheres to an educational program founded on a set of beliefs about man’s formation and vocation which is summed up in the Declaration of Vatican II on Christian Education: “A true education aims at the formation of the human person with respect to his ultimate goal and simultaneously with respect to the good of those societies of which, as a man, he is a member and in whose responsibilities, as an adult he will share.” A true sienan, therefore, is a Christ-centered, academically competent, service oriented and socially refined.
