1984, Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Wicked, Son of a Witch (and anything else Gregory MaGuire...he's brilliant), Invisible Monsters, Running With Scissors, As I Lay Dying, and I love biographies (usually of famous people, "they're just more interesting.") In general, I also love any kind of warped/re-working of a fairytale.
