I have wide-ranging tastes within a somewhat loosely defined category, in that I only like music that DOESN'T SUCK. Therefore, you will not find any SHITHOP in my collection. It makes me want to RIP MY F*@$ING EARS OFF AND EAT THEM SO THAT I NEVER HEAR ANYTHING LIKE IT AGAIN. IT'S NOT MUSIC!!!!!!!!! You will also not find really shitty shit like Disturbed, Godsmack, Mudvayne, or any other craprock band that consistently shits out album after album of the same pointless noise. Also not a big fan of really bunk interchangeable overdramatic whiners in skinny jeans and little t-shirts with extreme bedhead singing like girls. Boring. Toss in those wank-bands where one person whines and the other screams. You blow too. The Crow, Interview With The Vampire, Office Space, SLC Punk, Sid and Nancy, 24-Hour Party People, Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers, American History X, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands (seeing a Tim Burton theme here, perhaps?) Summer of Sam, Sin City, um, I can mostly stomach the Harry Potter movies even with their ridiculous lack of attention to details...however,speaking of movies that DO pay ridiculous attention to detail: I am really and truly NOT a fan of Lord of the Rings. Cannot make it through any of the movies. Not even the first half. If ever I have severe insomnia, I will not have to take sleeping pills, I will only have to rent and/or borrow the entire trilogy and I'll get the best sleep of my life. Don't get all butt-hurt people, I totally agree that they're well done and cinematically beautiful, you'd think for all that visual lushness that I could stay awake, but Geezus Harvey Keitel, WHY SO BORING!??! I think the basic thing that pisses me off about them is the fact that every minute detail is pulled off in the movies, but Harry Potter gets cut all to hell. Not fair!
I'm sadly quite a cable junkie, but thanks to the wonderful thing y'all might know as a DVR, at least I can filter through all the sheer utter shite on TV quicker. I'm addicted to Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Venture Brothers on adult swim, The Alternative on Vh1 Classic, South Park, Chappelle's Show, can't stand MTV, Fuse is kewl though...mostly. The only network TV shows I give half a kee-rap about are Gilmore Girls, Family Guy, American Dad, King of Queens reruns, Friends reruns, and Seinfeld reruns. Oddly enough, I don't watch a lot of Trainwreck TV; not a big Springer fan or crapreality TV fan by any stretch of the imagination, I.HATE.AMERICAN.IDOL. AGAIN - I REPEAT - AMERICAN IDOL SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. BUT I DO watch Dog the Bounty Hunter. It's incredibly hilarious on so many levels and more interesting than you could even guess, you can't NOT watch it. And Criss Angel of course, no one does what he does or looks so good doing it.
First and foremost I am a HUGE geek for The Harry Potter series. Neil Gaiman is brilliant. Anne Rice, Alternative Realities, the Unfortunate Series of Events books, yoga books, art books, interior design, Greek mythology, two of my favorite recent books are "E" consisting of the absolutely hilarious emails between employees at a British advertising agency, and "The World According To Mimi Smartypants", a published blog of this woman who lives in Chicago and I SWEAR lives in my own head.
-My mom is tops. She's smart, funny, incredible and is in better shape than I am! I'm glad I take after her in lots of ways, and I hope to continue throughout life doing the same. -Siouxsie Sioux has always been a favorite of mine too. Talented, tough, very intelligent, funny, stylish, wild, she's always been a big influence on me.-Any woman who is a strong, good person and strives to continue to be a strong, good person...Good to her friends, isn't selfish or self-involved, and who isn't just a useless stupid fuckdoll that seeks out and perpetuates drama, only does things for her own gain and thinks she's just here to look cheap and denigrate the rest of us.
