Started in late 2002 by Anthony Jones (vox) and Tom Richards (guitars) in the hope of making some raaaw rock n roll sounds. They completed their line up in 2003 with Simon "Trigger" John (bass) and Andrew Roberts (drums), before doing a number of gigs during the year throughout Swansea, starting at Swansea's main rock pub, The Office on April 11th 2003. In September of that year they released their first EP "An Age Of Riots" which was distributed across the land and at their gigs. Then in October 03' they added Andrew Evans on second guitar who played two gigs with the band including a packed out Bar 5 gig in Barons, Swansea in the December of that year, before splitting in Jan of 2004 just after a cancellation of the Cardiff Barfly.
Two years later in 2006 they returned as the original four piece. Sounding better than ever and picking up from where they left off in their home town by ripping up a number of local venues with a bunch of brand new songs.
In early 2007 Tom Richards and Simon John both left the band, leaving Krueger having to find a new line up, in which they did through Dan & Gav Owen on guitar and John Elias Marston (singer of Argento) on bass. Marston was then replaced by Chris Penny (ex Pentana) shortly after. The new five piece then played their first gig back on September 6th 2007, at the Office in Swansea, where they had played their first gig 4 years ago.
This was to be the first and the last gig of the new line up, who went out on a high to a near full pub playing both new and old Krueger songs with as much energy as ever. Eventhough this band seems to have had more members than Guns N' Roses & the Polyphonic Spree put together hopefully they will be remembered as a great Swansea band from the first decade of the new millenium who brought raw rock n' roll and energy to South wales.
