About Me

Myspace Countdown Clocks at WishAFriend.comHmmm...Let's see...I just moved back to Maryland after living in South Jersey for almost 2 years. I'm excited to be back! I'll miss my friends in Jersey/Philly, but I know it's just a quick trip up 95 to visit (I've done it many times before!) My favorite place to be is the beach. I grew up going to Bethany Beach, DE every summer, and made many trips "down the shore" when I lived in Jersey. My favorite sport to watch is football. I am a diehard REDSKINS fan (thanks to my Mom) and even support my team while surrounded by obnoxious Eagles fans. (And for the record, we have the rings & we have a better fight song) Growing up, I've always loved swimming, but lately I've really gotten into running. I ran my first race last May, the Broad Steet 10 mile, and recently ran a 10K across the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philly. My next goal is a half marathon. I'm running the Baltimore Under Armour half in October. After that...maybe a marathon...I'm thinking about doing the Shamrock Sportfest in VA Beach on St. Patrick's Day weekend. That would combine 2 faves, running & St. Patty's Day! I would also like to do a triathalon, but I have to get a bike first. I love to travel and meet new people, I REALLY want to go to Ireland...other than that I wouldn't mind going someplace tropical. I went on a family cruise this summer, and can't wait for the next one! Last year I went to Hawaii with friends, and wouldn't mind going back. I've also been to Italy, and would like to go back one day. That's all I can think of for now...

I like a lot of different things, it depends on my mood. Michael Jackson is an old favorite, and most people that know me well know that. I grew up listening to the Beatles. I also used to be a fan of Dave Matthews, although not so much now. I like a LOT of hip hop and rap, especially old school, such as Biggie and Tupac. My last concert was Tribe Called Quest in AC. I listen to a lot of music when I run like AC/DC, Madonna's new CD, Fallout Boy. I listen to a lot of stuff from the radio, I like Akon, Cassie, Nelly Furtado, and the Fray

Books:

I LOVE to read whenever I get a chance. I just finished, "The Devil Wear's Prada" by Laura Weisberger which was recently made into a movie. Before that, I read, "All Souls" by Michael Patrick MacDonald which was about his life growing up in a South Boston neighborhood devastated by drugs, organized crime, and extreme poverty. My favorite book of all time is, "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger
