THE DARK GIFT

The Dark Gift started much like many bands do. Original line-up consisted of, Ashley Smith, Lloyd Arnesen, Simon Grove and for quite a while had no name. Merging their different influences together the 3 decided to take their music to the next level and start looking for more necessary members. Jason Vila was introduced, the band decided he had all the necessary skills and talent to add that layer the band needed. From a very young age Simon and Ashley had similar music tastes. All of the band contribute their tastes of music to The Dark Gift and they were making good progress composing songs but they were still missing the key. Late 2005 they trialed Scott Tabone who joined that day. Since then they have composed many songs also recorded a 5 track E.P with Producer Simon Bailey.. the man behind such recordings as Black Asylum, Bad Blood, Rather Be Dead and many more.
