My name is Rachèl-Sara Sumah. My old friends use to know me as Lien (I sure want to change that name!!)
I live in Holland in a small village called Krommenie. That is not so far away from Amsterdam. I am married in July, 1992. Together we have 2 sons. Their names are Japhet (16 years old) and Joël (13 years old). My husbands name is Josafat-Jozua. He also used to had another name. His name used to be Russell. Since our conversion into Christianity, my husband got a vision during his captivity in jail back in 1998. The message was clear: we would change our names in Josafat-Jozua and Rachèl-Sara. It was 5 years later (2003) when Russell actually change his name radically. I am changing my name more easly, taking it step by step. You might ask the question: 'What kind of motive brought us to take this vision seriously?'. There's only one answer: Josafat senced such a pure and powerfull warmth and a loving strenght behind this vision that he cannot denie the truth, His thruth. What my husband and I did is to obey Him. Since 1995 we've experience a lot of miracles wich He showed us. There's no doubt, He is a living God and there is no way we want to go back where He found us. Unfortunatly we've also find out that His way is not an easy way to walk on. But we know that we don't have to fear (as is written in Psalm 23:4-5). He thrully is the Alpha and the Omega.Originally I am a Mollucan girl, but I am born and raised in the Netherlands. The island wich my partents came from called CERAM (the largest island of the Mollucan). My father (Willem Augustinus Sumah) comes from the village named KAIBOBO...but he was raised at the village of his grandmother named WAESAMU.
My mother (Maria Magdalena Sekerone) comes from the village NUNIALI. In the fifties my parents came to Holland where they met eachother. I have three brothers and two sisters. In 2002 my parents made a difficult dicision: they moved back to WAESAMU. On their island CERAM (NUSA INA) they wanted to spend the rest of their lives at their beautifull house at the beach. Unfortunately, both of my partents past away in 2003 (R.I.P.)...
I work at the Port of Amsterdam and I'm a management assistent. I love my job. It is so variable. Every day is a different day.
