I don't know about you but I don't want to miss out on anything while on this earth. I have been asking God to let me know why I am here. Not so much where I am going, but what I am all about. This statement sums up what He seems to be telling me:My life purpose is to depend on and abide in Christ, to love and lay down my life for my wife and children (when they come), to encourage God's people, to make disciples, to speak the very words of God with confidence and passion, and ultimately to be a son who knows his Father.John 17:3 - "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.The fact is, there are many times that I miss out on the very best God would have for my life- when I live only for me. But slowly, day by day, I look a little less like my old self did and a little more like Jesus does. Oh yeah, and the sweetest thing - I've never felt so loved.
