After recently attaining Steve Lamacq's Radio 1 demo of the week and winning Steve Harris's XFM featured bands competition, The Ruskins have come a long way since 2007.
Claiming the Streets, Johnny Cash and the Kings of Leon amongst their favoured influences, this 3 piece band hail from the back alleys of Isleworth's Worton Estate, West London.
From presenting Hounslow's Rifleman to headlining a showcase at this years ITC Festival, The Ruskins manage to blow the roof off each and every venue at which they perform. With their lyrics applauded by the Sunday Times, The Ruskins immerse themselves into a frenzy of uplifting country/ska rhythms laced with a rockabilly twang.
