Well, let's see ... I think I would describe myself as inquisitive, curious, loyal & honest. Complicated, yet virtually simple. Picky yet genuine. Be cautious to never mistake my kindness for being naive. Good head on my shoulders. I'll admit, I'm not a big dreamer. I tend to face life with a realistic perception. Some again, often mistake that for being a Pessimist. Kudos to those dreamers out there that can't face the fact that reality isn't always the fairy tail we all wish it would be. I take things for what they are, sometimes
life's great and sometimes it's unfair. Bad things DO happen to good people. Unfortunately, I know this from experience like many other undeserving "nice guys." If I spent my days waiting for Prince Charming to show up at my door so that we could run off and live happily ever after, I'd be a bit disappointed by now. Don't get me wrong, though
my thoughts are driven by reality, I still HOPE he's out there somewhere. It's just not my life's mission to track him down. If he's out there, he'll notice me, and I'll surely notice him. I love people, all kinds of people. Old people, mean people, selfish people and even angry people. Everyone has a story to tell and that intrigues me. Circumstance
has at some time, affected each of us in one way or another. Do you ever wonder in life, how insignificant one thing can be to one individual, while at the same time meaning the world to someone else. How does that happen? Why is that?
It challenges my mind to understand another perception other than my own. I ask a lot of questions, I always want to learn something new. I'm fair and I really don't feel the need to prove what I'm about to anyone. Those whom I care about know me and what I represent. I've never sought out to be most liked by everyone.
I only try to stay true to myself and my values. I consider myself giving, considerate, appreciative, thoughtful, friendly and at times a little silly.
I'm open-minded, fairly skeptical, always cautious and to some degree guarded. I'm rational, analytical, practical, & confident. I'm a bit strong-willed with a sprinkle of sarcasm and candidly outspoken. Many times misunderstood & extremely straight forward.
All too often I'm reminded, that it IS possible, to be "too honest." Go ahead, ask any of my friends, I'm sure they'll tell you my "up in your face" honesty, ISN'T always appreciated. I've been accused of being cold, detached, stubborn, impatient, calculating,
ruff around the edges, unconcerned, uncommitted, uninterested, stubborn, defiant, difficult, aggressive, argumentative and condescending.
Oh did I mention I bore easily too? I never did claim to be perfect, the word was "REALISTIC." You're free to love me or hate me. I promise not to take it personal. Just do me a favor, try not to be ignorant and judge ONLY IF you really know me.
