Lustrum

Hailing straight out a small city in Los Angeles, Pico Riveras Lustrum was born. In a city were bands are started in hopes of some how making it big one day, Lustrum is no different. Started in the summer of 2002 by drummer Sergio and then guitarist Elliot, the band would go under many name changes and various band members before becoming the ultimate trio. By mid summer the band had recruited Jonathan, a talented guitarist, to be added to the mix and Exile was born. However friction between lead guitarist Elliot and rhythm guitarist Jonathan caused the band to split by 2003. By January 2003 Sergio and Jonathan had resumed practicing as a two some with Jonathans older brother Tony sitting in as bassist. Towards spring, the band then decided that adding another guitarist might be a good idea. Jonathan played around with the idea of adding his next door neighbor Luis. The band continued on practicing, getting a feel for the new guitarist but, By the end of the summer the band had finished before it even begun. It would be over a year before Sergio and Jonathan even decided on trying all over again....The fall of 2005 both Jonathan and Sergio had finally decided on giving it one more try. Piecing back together what they could salvage from their first 2 attempts, the band started up once again. This time proved different, with Jonathan as lead vocalist and guitar, and Tony as back-up vocals and Bass, and Sergio on Drums, The band moved forward with writing and recording their music. Today, the band is more focused than ever.
