I am definitely part country-mouse, part city-mouse. I grew up in the middle of the cornfields in Illinois, so I appreciate small-town courtesies and simple, honest living. But the free spirit in me desires diversity and culture. I am ultra-curious about all aspects of the human spirit, and what makes people tick. I constantly and continuously strengthen my sense of "self", mostly by learning by and from others. I am utterly fascinated by people; their speech patterns, way they walk, interactions with others, etc. My acting training and fascination with psychology and sociology has created a lot of those obsessions! I’m also a total sucker for anyone who can make me laugh.
I have copious amounts of creative energy, for which I have many outlets. I do a little bit of a lot of things to curb my appetite; paint, draw, sew, write, act, dance, sing…You know, all that typical “artsy†crap. I thrive on it, and I thrive on those with similar virtuosity. I enjoy all aspects of design; interior design, fashion, music, graphics, cinematography. Simply put, I like things that look cool and function well. I also really like working with my hands. I often feel like, “If I can see it in my head, I can make it…somehowâ€!
Ummm...What else? Well...I like to do lots of stuff. I'm uber crafty and shit, so I like to paint and draw and make stuff. I make jewelry as a hobby and for money, if I can. I like to read and listen to music and dance and watch tv and put on mascara and sleep and eat and do cartwheels and act like a fool. Damn, I dunno. All things interest me. The freakier, the better.
Thankfully, I love my job. I get to help people realize their spiritual potential, which, in turn, helps me to grow. I seriously learn something new and amazing everyday, which has aided in my own personal evolution.
