I love life & am absolute workaholic-all work & no play etc..trust me, I play hard too! But hell, you only live once!
Been spinning for around 8 years now-started off in the good ol' speed garage days-it just aint the same now! So I ventured into the RnB & Hip hop scene & been experimenting with it for nearly 4 years now. Its def all about the selection as well as the mix & I ALWAYS play to my crowd-so many DJ's dont right now & it pisses me off!!
I've got a residency at one of the biggest nightclubs in Essex @the Mo & have been there for 3 years, but I am takin on more 'one-off' guest appearances this year so watch this space! I Play the best in RnB, HipHop, Old school Garage & all the classics that we love! Ive played both in the uk & abroad, also done a few of the pirate stations back in the day. My musical taste is really varied,I'll listen to any kind of music,EXCEPT death/thrash/heavy metal & trance or heavy house/happy hardcore-Jeezz!!! Music is my life where would we be without it?I'd love to get more into songwriting or the A&R bizz-its just having the time. So I guess you could say that I have alot of balls in a predominantly male orientated world!
I used to do a lot of modelling & tv/acting & commercial work back in the day, but being only 5ft 4" it's really hard to get back into now-although having the time to do that would be great!
I dont take life too seriously, but I am ambitious. Im VERY independant & quietly confident however am definately NOT one of them 'in yer face' girls. I cant stand arrogant big headed people, who are up their own ass or liars-I've met plenty of them! Basically, what you see is what you get with me, Im a hardworking, honest & down to earth kinda gal!.
I love to travel & have gone on many 'independant' missions to far away lands! The best being the States (So far!) But would love to see more of the world! Travelling alone is brilliant & I have met so many great people along the way! (Hi all that know me!) Just to clarify, I am NOT a backpacker traveller-no offence to all that do, but there is not just NOT enough room in the backpack for my shoes/clothes/makeup/hairdryer/chocolate etc...!! So yes I am a typically 'Girly girl' & do appreciate all lifes luxuries!!! .. So calling all Club promoters, producers, casting agents, other DJ's (Male or Female!!), TV/ radio people, A&R execs!
Or anyone who is young & funky!! (male models ALWAYS welcome too!!.............;o) HOLLA at your girl!!
