. Music, music and more music. I spend most nights watching movies, I love my Redbone Coonhound more than life and my primary hobby is studying the American Civil War but I will read anything I can get my hands on, regardless of the material or content. I keep an english dictionary in the upstairs bathroom and a latin dictionary in the downstairs head. I love the Marquis de Sade, Dante, Aleister Crowley and Richard Adams. Sundays are hockey days which provide a good workout for three hours after a weekend of drinking. I enjoy any major sport with the exception of basketball. Lacrosse kicks ass as does rugby! Those are two real men sports! Any shithead can take a punch in the face like in the UFC, but in rugby, you don't come off the field unless the doctor says so. Favourite sports teams are Boston Bruins, Atlanta Braves, San Fransisco 49ers, Toronto Rock and The New Zealand All Blacks and Brazil in soccer(or Football depending on where you live in the world). Recently my son Braxton joined us here on this planet earth. He was born April 1st and now has become the sparkle in my eye.

OK I know the game has nothing to do with movies, but it is fun to play and once you start it is hard to stop. Here's what you do: when two or more cubes of the same colour are in a row move your mouse over one of them and click to make them all disappear. It's like a vamped up version of Tetris.
I love horror movies. Friday the 13th series, Nightmare On Elm Street series, old stuff like Cujo and Christine. New movies like House of a Thousand Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, The Hill's Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part I & II, Resident Evil Part I & II, all the Halloweens, Rambo: First Blood, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Gods & Generals, Gettysburg, Jeepers Creepers, Boondock Saints, Spun, U-Turn, 28 Days, Keys to Tulsa, Gone With The Wind, White Oleander, Sniper, Insomnia, Million Dollar Baby, Hang 'Em High, Mississippi Burning, 2 Days in the Valley, Forrest Gump, Wrong Turn, Dawn of the Dead, Stigmata, The Deer Hunter, Dead Presidents, Alien, Road Trip, All the American Pie flicks, Fallinig Down, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Bringing Out The Dead, Cobb, Cool Hand Luke, Pale Rider, Last Samurai and anything with Jim Carrey in it. I have also been known to watch the odd porno now and then. Christy and Jenna you rule!
I can and do watch Seinfeld over and over. Other shows include King of the Hill, Ren and Stimpy, Rollergirls, House, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel. Monday Night Raw, Pinky and The Brain, Duckman, The Sopranos, Prison Break, CSI: Miami, The Family Guy, Everybody Loves Raymond, Married with Children, hockey, football, pretty much anything on the Discovery channel or the History channel. The show Flip This House has me hooked and I hate it, but yet I can't turn the channel! And of course every Sunday night is a special night set aside for the Trailor Park Boys.
Stonewall Jackson's Book of Maxims, The Tao Te Ching of Lao Tzu, Watership Down, Napoleons Military Maxims, Diary of a Drug Fiend, 120 Days of Sodom and Other Writings, or anything written by the Marquis de Sade. Anything by Irvine Welsh. Joel Chandler Harris' Stories about Brer Rabbit and Uncle Remus such as His Songs and Saying, Nights with Uncle Remus, Tales of Uncle Remus, the Complete Tales of Uncle Remus. I enjoy Franz Kafka, Jonathan Swift as well as Jean-Paul Sarte. Elmore Leonard, Steven King and Og Mandino are read a great deal as is Charles Bukowski. I read three different magazine's on the American Civil War and anything else that I can get my hands on. Life Of Pi was an interesting read, really had a twisting story line that had an interesting ending.
General Jackson, General Forrest, Marcus Aurelius, Johnny Cash, Steven Tyler and Julius Ceasar. I chose these men because of their strength, vision and fortitude to soldier on in good times and the bad. Always willing to lend a hand to their fellow man and ready to give an ear when called upon. Last and certainly not least is country singer David Allen Coe. Coe stands behind his beliefs and convictions despite all those who oppose him, especially the country music scene in Nashville who have ostrasized Coe for his songs and fuck you style! Here's to David Allen Coe for keepin' it real and keepin' the South alive! Coe fuckin' rules! And last but certainly not least one of my biggest heroes is the man upstairs, GOD.
