"Mythbusters" is a television show on the Discovery Channel that debunks (or sometimes proves) those urban legends and myths you've always wondered about...Can relieving yourself on the third rail really kill you? Can breast implants really explode if you take a commercial flight? Is Jimmy Hoffa really buried under the turf at giants stadium? These are just some of the burning questions that the hosts, Adam Savage and Jamie Hymen, tackle with each episode! They put their bodies on the line to show us if it's just a myth or reality! Between the two of them, they have 30 years in the special effects industry and are perfectly suited to not only explain the myth but actually try to recreate it in order to determine fact from fiction.
