For all of you who haven't seen or even heard from me since, well, graduation, here's what's been going on: I joined the Navy, went to boot camp in Illinois, transferred to the Defense Language Institute in beautiful Monterey, CA, got me some book learnin', got promoted, got married, graduated from DLI with an AA and got promoted again, transferred to Ft. Gordon, GA, got divorced, bought a house, started work as a linguist, took up a couple new hobbies, got promoted again, and started going back to college, stopped going back to college, and took a huge chunk of leave. In that order.
As for those of you who know me here in Georgia...you already know all that stuff. You know where to find me if you don't.
I've got some more pictures up on PictureTrail .
You're Alaska!
You're big, bulky, and extremely wild. At the same time, you're rather
cold and standoffish, even a loner of sorts. Taming you may be one of the last great
quests of the people who do manage to find you or even seek you out. So many of them
just want to plunder you for what you have of value, but there are a few, the ones
who will stick with you, that truly value your rugged remoteness. As long as no one
is spilling stuff on you, you are truly beautiful.
