One Man's Distortion is Another Man's Reality

About Me

I've been in music since I was 6. I played drums for years until my set fell apart and I traded it for a Les Paul copy. I've been playing guitar and bass ever since. I have a degree in practical music and another in applied electronics. I've been to the National Guitar Workshop and also to the Kendrick Amp Camp.I'm presently designing and building custom effects for guitar and bass players.I'm featured in Guitar Player October 2006 in the distortion pedal shoot out.I've played mostly Rock, Blues, and Metal. I prefer psychodelic and long jam stuff.

Band Website: uncleernieseffects.com/index.html
Band Members: I'm a contract musician and I have been known to work in up to three groups at once. I'm also one of the Bass players for Tim Harrington Band.At the moment I'm not in a band focusing on pedals and helping players develope their personal sound.
Influences: Frank Marino, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Robin Trower, Rush, Yes, The Who, KISS, Black Sabbath, Steve Vai, GWAR. Some would say GWAR sticks out here but they have the coolest show imaginable and they've stuck to their guns all this time. They are proud of what they are and determined to statisfy their fanbase and that's what this is about.
