Hey there, thanks for visiting my page! I am originally from the Bronx, have lived here in sunny SFLA since I was 6. I have four great kids who mean the world to me. My ethnicity is 100% Puerto Rican, now, I can't speak fluent spanish, but I CAN cook the foods and dance the music. I'm about 5'4", medium build. I think that Life is the best teacher we have, if we could learn to listen to our instincts and trust that voice inside, yeah, you know which one I'm talking about. In the past few years I have re-evaluated everything about my life and now in a mode of constant growth, I am selective of who I trust and where I spend my energy. My friends would describe me as strong, somewhat intense(at times), high energy (not many can keep up with me), funny, I love to laugh and make people laugh, a good listener, and dependable, when I say I'm going to do something, it's as good as done. I have cleaned out my social circle of everyone who is not a positive force in my life. I have rid the negativity from my immediate circle and in the words of Mary J. Blige, "NO MORE DRAMA", (I can watch the Lifestyle channel for that), I have more important things to deal with. I believe in surrounding yourself with positive people and keeping your thoughts positive as well,(not always easy, but do-able), giving when you can, and saying no when you need to, learning balance in life is important and for me, an ongoing practice. I am drawn to people with a love of life, who are interesting, who speak thier mind and have a quick wit. I have alot of different interests, opinions up the wazu, a great sense of humor,(yes, despite what anyone says, sarcasm is not that easy), coupled with a TON of ambition. I work hard and I play hard. I'm excited about having started over again on my own terms, don't get me wrong, it has been anything but boring to this point, but now it's getting even better. I'd like to meet people who are real (no haters, no hypocrites),have a sense of humor, who aren't afraid to express what they feel and stand up for what they believe in and most importantly, be themselves, I have a diverse group of friends and respect everyone who is true to themselves. As I said in my headline, "actions speak louder than words", confidence and kindess are attractive to me, there's a difference between doing nice things for personal attention and doing them because you know you should help your fellow human, that is the ultimate reason we exist, I believe, (told you I had opinions!) I don't think we should measure our successes on the big things as much as we should the small but thoughtful things we do on a daily basis, those are the moments that make a much bigger impact in the end. I have recently become a Reike praticioner and am very excited in fine tuning this ability to help others. If you wanna chat, just knock, I'll answer....... eventually.
