Hi, my name is Martin Kwakernaak.
I do a lot of music writing for the band Officium Triste,
after drumming for 13 years it was time to make a change because of logistic problems and am now responsible for the key parts.
This is music which is called "doom" metal because it sounds very sad, a bit dark, slow etc.
The biggest factor in life which made me wanna write this kind of music is life itself.
As a kind of therapy for myself writing this kind of music helps me to unleash negative feelings.
What i don't want for people is to encourage them in their negative spiral and do dumm things like committing suicide or do other dumm things, i just speak for me but for me this kind of music is more like a "hey, there are more people feeling bad and this world is fucked up but just kick back"
The reason why i write this is some expiriences with this subject in my surroundings, i wish these people just would have talked with me instead of killing themselves, sometimes someone listening is al they needed.....
To all of you who are dealing with these problems and just need to write stuff, please do, i will respond.
