Going out, live music, cycling, computers, skiing (damn knuckle draggers keep carving away all my snow), drinking, immersing myself in work on occasion, Sunday brunch, coffee, wine tasting, steak, Cal sports (Go Bears!).
Cool people. Honest people. Upfront people. I tend to be upfront, and I like that in the people I meet. Someone to go cycling with!
Practically anything but country. And gospel. And whatever Yanni is. Five albums to bring to a deserted island (in no particular order): Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, Aenima, OK Computer, Ten.
Swingers is just about the most quotable movie of all time. Empire is amazing. And pretty much anything with Keira Knightley... or Kate Beckensale. And for anybody who does the 9-5 gig, Office Space is a can't miss.
TiVo is the greatest invention since the word invention was coined. It prevents you from aimlessly searching through channels, which is a real time saver especially when you have 500 of them. What's on my TiVo? I've had the "Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants" South Park episode on there since December... 2001. Lost, Desperate Housewives (which really sucks this year, but like a train wreck I can't stop watching), and 24 (as implausible it might seem) are enough to keep me busy. I'd record South Park and Chappelle's Show, but Adelphia seems to have blocked channels 42 through 65 for some reason.
Honestly, I don't read a ton, but when I do I try to mix it up. Last few books I've read: The 158-pound Marriage; The Elegant Universe; Bringing Down the House; Pattern Recognition.
Anybody who knows what they want and makes it happen.
