About Me

I'm always happy where I'm at, but I'm always going somewhere else. There's only one thing in the world that I'll describe with the word 'favorite.' And I firmly believe that good music can make anything better.

I don't actually 'do' anything, though I have a plethora of useless skills. I shall continue to roam the globe on my quest to develop even more useless skills in order to assert my belief that I am actually an extraordinary human being and to avoid both boredom and what I have heard some refer to as 'the real world.'

That being said, people pretend to understand me a lot better than they actually do.

But this is really what I'm all about:

Anyone that can wield a guitar is a god to me.

Other than that, if you're a generally happy person, feel free to stop by and say 'hello.'

If you're not happy, you must be sad. If you're sad, you must be discontented. Discontented people are often mean. Mean people suck. If you're mean, don't talk to me.

Music:

Anything except rap and hip-hop. I can even deal with some country. Oh yea, and I generally hate pop.

Greats include: John Mellencamp, Boston, Ella Fitzgerald, Bon Jovi, Neil Young, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Journey, James Taylor, Louis Armstrong, BB King, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Scorpions, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Bing Crosby, Simon & Garfunkle, Tom Petty, George Winston, Heart, Beatles, John Fogerty, Billy Joel, Traveling Wilburys, John Williams, John Denver, The Carpenters, Damien Rice, The Police, and many many others

Movies:

I'm a movie addict.

If it's a trilogy, it's bound to be good:
. . . Indiana Jones
. . . Star Wars (both the 1st & 2nd sets)
. . . Back to the Future
. . . Die Hard
. . . Rambo
. . . Ghostbusters ... okay, this one's not a trilogy, but both movies were good enough that it should have been a trilogy, hahaha
. . . The Matrix
. . . Lord of the Rings
. . . Jurassic Park
. . . etc....
Also in the good movie lineup:
. . . Willy Wonka (old and new), White Christmas, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pirates of the Caribbean, When Harry Met Sally, The Goonies, The Ref, National Treasure, Dirty Rotton Scoundrels, The (original) Pink Panther Movies, Anything by Mel Brooks, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Boondock Saints, Planes Trains & Automobiles, Groundhog Day, Muppet Family Christmas, and many many more

Television:

Seinfeld, M*A*S*H (the early years), 80's Shows (The Muppets, Fraggle Rock, Voltron, Popples, etc.), Cartoons

You Are the Swedish Chef
"Bork! Bork! Bork!"
You're happy and energetic
...with borderline manic tendencies.
No one really gets you.
And frankly, you don't even get you.
But, you sure are one helluva cook!

Freedom and Euphoria

This is how I currently feel.  I am at peace, euphoric, and in love with the world.  Beauty is everywhere. My day of absolute freedom starts in about 10 minutes.  I don't have to work ...
