I have a passion for passion. Whatever it is that makes you feel the blood pulsating in your veins. That takes your breath away. That IS your reason for being. It is your mandate to pursue your passion. A life without purpose is wasted. My purpose is to somehow touch and uplift all I come into contact with. My passion is acting, writing, living and loving. To live is human, to create is devine!That, in part, is why life is so exhilirating for me right now! What began as one of those creative erruptions with cherished friends and artists, has resulted in my first screenplay. When We Were Pirates is based on an original idea by my great friend, Sharon Zimmer.It is a story about friends, the promises they make and, the things they have to go through to keep them. I think it's an important story, particularly today, because as economic times continue to spiral downward and, the notion of security offers us precious little comfort, the things that have the most value are those we can't put a price tag on. Friends, family, our word.The film is in pre-production right now with Jim Hanks directing and staring, Jorge Garcia, Sharon Zimmer, and a bunch of other very talented actors (yeah, me too).It's touching, but also very funny and moving. Jorge Garcia and Sharon went into the studio and cut a song from the movie last week.
