Art, Movies, History, Politics, Acting, Dancing, blah, blah, blah.
Gloria Steinem, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Steve Edwards, Sara Vowell, Ira Glass, Gretchen Helfirdege (I am sure that is spelled wrong), Clive Owen, Orlando Bloom Kurt Vonnegut, directors in need of actors (mainly in chicago)....
I'm not picky.
I love the escape that movies provide. Most movies (even bad ones) are complete works of art that challenge the senses. The best ones hit all five (if only through the viewer's imagination). There are times that I can almost smell, taste, or feel things that are shown on a screen.
Top 10 or whatever (right now and not in any order):
It's a Wonderful Life,
LOTR,
Trading Places,
Amelie,
Raise the Red Lantern,
Pirates of the Carribean,
Shrek,
Finding Neverland,
Sin City,
Boondock Saints,
The Jersey Trillogy,
The Princess Bride,
Shaun of the Dead
