I'm a Writer, a Student, an Activist, and a Musician. I am applying to Grad Schools for an MFA in Creative Writing.

I'm Vegan and Straightedge.

I write almost daily.

I try to make the most of everyday, because life is too short to be wasted.

I enjoy reading books. Ask me about my favorites.

I play drums, guitar, and sing.

I am a cyclist, and love to ride my bike. I want to bike across Europe in the near future.

I enjoy playing card and board games, and will kick your butt at anything from Chess to Chutes & Ladders.

I have a list of life goals, 20 major ones. I have yet to cross any off of my list.

My Interests

Writing, Reading, Listening to and playing rad Music (drums, vocals, and now guitar!), Bicycling, Working out, Running, Radical Politics, Activism, Anarchism, Skateboarding, Board and card games of all kinds, Old DOS computer games, other nerdy stuff, etc.

Hardcore, especially Fast Hardcore, Thrash, Death Metal, Metal, Punk, Folk Punk, Classic Rock, Classical, Jazz, Hip-hop...far too many to name by name at this point...

Movies:

Star Wars, Star Trek, Tron, Dune, The Edge of Quarrel, The Winking Circle, Clerks, Clerks 2, Mall Rats, Dogma, Amelie, City of Lost Children, B.I.K.E., Pedal, Punishment Park, PI, Requiem for a Dream, Serenity, Phenomena, etc.

Television:

Star Trek. The Twilight Zone. The Outer Limits. Firefly. Seinfeld. early Simpsons. CSPAN Book TV. Any sports channel involving cycling, soccer, or skateboarding.
