Bodie Jarman

About Me

Influenced by Bright Eyes, Okkervil River, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan. Bodie has been performing for the last 4 years or so, finding his voice and his dark little niche of the musical spectrum where he delights crowds with his dark imagery and his seemingly infected vocal chords.
'A mixture of bluesy improvisation and alternate tunings, with a voice thats as harsh as the images conjured by his lyrics. Live, he gives his all, straining and screaming out his soul into microphones not equiped to hold the substance.'
Currently recording he will be back playing live again soon, with something for you to take home...
Bodie has played Venues and Festivals such as:
The Heritage Hotel (his local venue)
Oxford Tavern
Level One - Ryans Hotel
Empire Hotel
Mount Kembla Hotel
The Green Room (Canberra)
Illawarra Folk Festival
Australian Blues Music Festival (Goulburn)
Music At The Creek Folk Festival (Braidwood)
And many others

Morning Of The Earth

"We are the measure of all things and the beauty of our creation, of our art, is proportional to the beauty of our selves, of our soul."
